Warranty and Payment

WARRANTY

M&M is proud to offer our customers the best warranty policy available in our industry. For most products, we offer a one-year warranty from the original invoice date. The only exceptions would be where the manufacturer does not support a product with warranty. In the case of refurbished product, M&M is proud to offer minimally a warranty period of 30 days from the invoice date, and usually longer. We will promptly service your warranty needs with replacement or repair. Naturally, conditions of the manufacturer’s warranty will apply, and product will need to be returned within the warranty period. M&M may need to deduct from your credit the cost of boxing, packaging materials, manuals or accessories in cases where the product has not been returned in original condition or incomplete. Credits issued and not used within 1 year will be forfeited. In cases of product exchange, we are sure you can understand that the mirror image of what has been returned will be exchanged. We are unable to accept COD return shipments, and shipping charges are the responsibility of our customer. Please note that we will not be able to warranty product showing installer or consumer abuse. As regards items which are close-out sales, all sales are final, as is, except for any defective close-out product, which can be returned under the normal warranty applicable for that item.

CONDITIONS FOR THE RETURN OF MERCHANDISE

To assure the prompt handling of your returns and credits, we ask our customers to follow these 3 easy steps when making a return:

  1. Contact M&M to obtain a Return Authorization (RMA) Number. RMA numbers will be valid for only a 30 day period. Should you fail to return your goods within that period; you will need to acquire a new RMA number.
  2. Package your return for safe transit, and clearly indicate the RMA number prominently on the outside of the box.
  3. Within the box, please provide a brief explanation of the reason for return.

We ask that non-defective returns be in original resalable condition, and are subject to a 10% restocking charge to cover the added expense in handling and restocking. We are proud to service our customers with a no-hassle fast turnaround on returns, with credits and exchanges most usually issued within 48 hours of receipt. We are sorry that we can offer no refunds, but will gladly issue you credits, which must be taken within one year. Credits issued and not used within 1 year will be forfeited. Please be certain to make returns to 1923 Bomar Ave Fort Worth, Texas 76103 only. Returns of merchandise will be credited at the lower of the price paid on the specific applicable invoice, or the current selling price of the item.

DAMAGED MERCHANDISE

M&M takes extraordinary measures in personnel training and the use of proper packing supplies to assure that your shipment arrives in good condition. However, sometimes shipments do arrive in poor condition due to poor or abusive handling by carriers. Should this happen to you, and to assure that your needs are properly met, please be careful to follow the procedures below:

UPS Shipment Be certain not to return the merchandise yourself. Contact your local UPS representative.

Ask for an inspection report, and UPS will return the shipment.

US Mail      Your local Post Office will require that you bring the package in and file a damage claim.

Truck Shipment

To assure proper handling and payment of your claim be certain to note the nature of the damage on all copies of freight bill, and get the signature of the driver on all copies. You are now ready to file a claim with the carrier. Sometimes the damage will be concealed, and in such case, keep the original carton and contact the carrier immediately for an inspection report to file your claim.

SHORTAGES

We commit to the prompt handling of any shortages, damages or errors that might occur with your orders. We will promptly issue a credit, or make an adjustment, if we have been notified of such instances within three working days of receipt.

ORDERING

M&M sells product wholesale only, to retail customers selling to the end consumer. The minimum is $150 ($10.00 fee for orders under $150.00).

SPECIAL ORDERS

We ask for a 50% minimum deposit for Special Orders.

BACKORDERS

As a service to our customers, upon receipt of backordered merchandise and prior to shipment, M&M will contact our customers for instructions.

SHIPPING

All prices quoted are F.O.B. Shipping Point. Most orders will be shipped FedEX while we have found them usually to offer the best combination of service and economy. However, we will make every attempt to honor your choice, and in some instances may select a carrier we feel better suited to your particular needs.

Upon your request, we are happy to offer accelerated shipment time services such as UPS NEXT DAY, SECOND DAY and THREE DAY SELECT, or that of other available carriers. Naturally, you can understand that our customers would assume responsibility for the increased shipping charges.

LTL Shipments: Sometimes a shipment may need to ship via an LTL (Less than truck load) carrier. In the case that a shipment is best suited to ship LTL M&M will choose the most cost effective carrier at M&M sole discretion. If the customer request a certain carrier the customer will be solely responsible for the shipment and all charges attached to said shipment.

Forms of payment accepted include:

Credit Card: We honor VISA, MasterCard, Discover & AMEX. However, for your protection against fraudulent charges and misuse, we require a current signed authorization form on file.

Frozen Accounts: If an account has zero activity in 12 months or longer, the account becomes frozen. To re-activate a frozen account, a new credit application must be renewed.

Late Payments: We understand that our customers may overlook an invoice at times, but in the case where this has happened persistently, or with a new account, the following terms will apply. A late payment charge of 1.5% per month will be assessed on your past due balance, and no new shipments will be made in the period under which the past due balance is being taken care of. It is also our policy to change accounts to COD status during this period. While we do all we can to avoid this final remedy, if deemed necessary, delinquent accounts will be sent out for collection, with the charges of the collection agency the responsibility of the customer.

Pre-Payment: For some customers, prepayment will offer the quickest and easiest processing of your needs. Certified Check or Money Order is preferred. However, personal or company checks can be presented for clearance prior to processing your order.

There will be a $25 charge for returned checks.

REFUSALS

We can understand that at times circumstances beyond your control arise that may result in your refusal of a shipment. We are certain you can understand as well that in such instances, the freight charges incurred by M&M will be applied to your account balance, as well as a 10% restocking charge. If the problem persists however, it may be necessary to place your account on a prepayment basis, or place you on COD if you have open account status.

We at M&M Merchandisers reserve the right to limit quantities. Prices and items for sale are subject to change without notice. On occasion the items ordered may not be exactly as pictured in the catalog or promotional piece. We do our level best, but are not responsible for typographical errors.
