Fabulustre Ultrasonics feature stainless steel tanks. All units have a heater with
a timer which allow you to pre-set the temperature and time for maximum
cleaning results. Cleaning frequency on all units is 40khz.
Ultrasonic cleaning is accomplished by "Cavitation". High-frequency waves create tiny bubbles that adhere to the object to be cleaned. As these bubbles collapse due to the ultrasonic waves, the cleaning action occurs.
Plain water can be used, however, a cleaning solution is recommended. When fresh water is placed in the cleaning tank, the water contains air bubbles. These bubbles inhibit the cleaning action. The water must be degassed for the unit to clean properly.
